At this level, it’s unnecessary to pose the question “Who’s Dat Girl?” any longer. It’s common knowledge that Ayra Starr is that girl. And the night she took to the stage in Cotonou, Benin Republic, only served to make it even more evident. The singer’s performance was one to etch itself into the memory of the Beninese audience.
Post-performance, Ayra executed her usual strength. Along with a collection of
photos from the stage that immediately caught our attention, she shared a post
expressing gratitude. Of course, we needed to discuss the appearance.
She opted for an all-white look that exuded both style and a laid-back vibe.
The ensemble included a long-sleeved organza blouse with a plunging neckline,
layered over a tidy bralette.
This was combined
with a structured mini skirt featuring pleats and an asymmetrical peplum at the
hip, completed with a visible zip detail. The pointed-toe pumps, which were
also white, remained consistent with the theme.
A small white bow that matches her outfit and is tucked into her hair is one
detail we can’t get over. It is delicate and sweet, providing a soft, feminine
accent that complements the rest of the ensemble perfectly.
Ayra captioned the photos with a simple “merci beaucoup” and added Benin flags,
beautifully acknowledging the love she received in Cotonou. And honestly, it
sums everything up.
