Residents and stakeholders from across the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District on Thursday, October 1, 2026, gathered at Ikot Ekpene Plaza for a street solidarity prayer in honour of President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno.
Held under the theme, “Ikot Ekpene Street Solidarity Prayers for Peace, Unity, and the Success of Our Leaders,” the gathering featured prayers for peace, unity, protection, wisdom and divine guidance for the three leaders as they discharge their responsibilities.
The event also featured a show of support for Tinubu, Akpabio and Eno, with the GOA Ambassadors, led by Edu Offong, endorsing the three leaders for re-election.
Traditional rulers, political stakeholders, community leaders and residents from across the senatorial district attended the gathering.
Among those present were Prince Ukpong Akpabio and Emem Akpabio, alongside traditional rulers and other stakeholders.
The organisers said the prayer was convened to promote peace and unity while seeking divine intervention for the continued progress and development of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
