On Saturday 15th August, 2026, Face of Valentine Pageant International flagged off its much anticipated 1 month skills training program.
The flag off marks the beginning of the one (1) month skill acquisition training program which according to the director; Comr. Mfonobong Robson will prepare participants for future realities while and equip individuals with practical, hands-on, and industry-relevant abilities that foster self-reliance, reduce unemployment, and promote economic growth.
While addressing the participants, Face of Valentine Pageant Int'l head Queen, Queen Blessing Udo popularly known as Queen Cyndy charge them to remain focused and seize the opportunity for the better tomorrow.
She added that for her to be where she is today as a beauty pageant queen, it took resilience and commitment.
In her words: "As you have embarked on a journey of transformation, I am confident that the skills and values you will acquire will serve you well in the future."
She also urged participants to stay focused on their trainings, uphold the principles guiding the training program to be the positive ambassadors that the society needs.
"The success of this program reflects our shared commitment to creating a better future for our communities while giving back to the society" She added.
Earlier in his opening remark, the Program Director and CEO of Face of Valentine Pageant Int'l, Comr. Mfonobong Robson outline the vision and mission of the brand adding that Face of Valentine Pageant Int'l is focused on providing a supportive environment that educates, develops and inspires the girl child.
He later called on individuals, cooperate bodies and government to partner for the extension of its girl child development programs.
"We look forward for a continuous collaboration with government parastatals, NGOs and private companies to empower more individuals and build a more united and prosperous society.” He added.
The coordinator of the training program and CEO of Mae Cakes 'N' Foods, Ms Magdalene Okon who is also the resource person urged participants to make good use of this opportunity adding that the skills she learned few years ago is now putting food in her table and paying her bills as she is not depending on anyone for her livelihood.
Highpoint of the flag off was allocation of courses and timetable as participants expressed gratitude for being part of the training program.
