Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has claimed he rejected an offer of $1 million to join Mavin Records, owned by music executive Don Jazzy.
Taking to X on Thursday, the 30-year-old rapper shared a short post explaining his decision. He said he does not like being active on social media or constantly engaging with fans online.
“Need to get this off my chest before ‘Chanel’ drops,” he wrote. “The reason I didn’t sign to Mavin when they were begging me with a million dollars is ‘cos I don’t really like posting. I prefer one tweet per year than engaging my fans. I’m too big for that. I’m mysterious.”
