BREAKING: "Golden Era Concert 3.0" Rescheduled for Friday, May 29

The much-anticipated Golden Era Concert 3.0 will now hold on Friday, May 29, 2026,following an official announcement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, Mr. David Sergeant popularly known as Utang Akwa Ibom 

Mr. Sergeant made the announcement on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 during a working visit to Ibom Plaza to assess the level of preparation and logistics ahead of the entertainment event.

He was received at the plaza by the event manager, Mr Nelson NseAbasi of Talent Bank Nigeria and the manager of Ibom Plaza, Mr Hillary.

According to the Governor’s aide,the adjustment in date became necessary to ensure a more successful and better coordinated outing for fun seekers, entertainers and residents expected to troop into the venue from across the state and beyond.

Golden Era Concert 3.0 is part of activities lined up to commemorate the third anniversary of the ARISE Agenda administration of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno. The event is expected to feature performances from some of Akwa Ibom’s finest entertainers, comedians, music acts and cultural performers.

Entertainment lovers across the state have continued to express excitement over the concert, which has generated massive anticipation on social media in recent days.

Observers say the concert further highlights the growing role of entertainment and tourism in Akwa Ibom State’s development strategy, as the state continues to position itself as a destination for major cultural and social events.

Residents and visitors have been advised to turn out in large numbers on the new date to experience what organizers describe as an evening of “undiluted fun and entertainment.”
