Another important partnership within Nigeria's expanding film
industry has been established with the official signing of a distribution deal
by FilmOne Entertainment for the much awaited Nigerian feature picture
Headless. Michael W. Ndiomu, the CEO of Maturion Films and a filmmaker,
attended the signing event at the Filmhouse Support Office in Lagos, which
officially sealed the deal that will bring Headless to theaters across the country.
The deal demonstrates FilmOne Entertainment's ongoing
dedication to promoting Nigerian narratives and making sure high-caliber
regional films are seen by a large audience. Headless is scheduled to be shown
in several places, providing moviegoers all across the country with the chance
to see the picture on a large screen thanks to FilmOne's strong distribution
network and strategic market reach.
Speaking at the
signing, Michael W. Ndiomu shared his excitement about the collaboration:
“I’m thrilled to be working with FilmOne Entertainment on Headless.
Their platform gives the film the visibility and reach it deserves. What makes
this project especially personal is the level of commitment on set: the lead
actor performed a death-defying stunt himself, without a stunt double. That
authenticity translates directly to the screen, and we’re confident audiences
will feel it.”

continue spotlighting the depth of creativity and talent within our local film
industry.”
Headless set the stage for an unforgettable festival experience as it debuted as the Opening Night Film at AFRIFF 2024. Producer Michael W. Ndiomu is in charge of the project; his prior work includes the Netflix sensation The Origin: Madam Koi-Koi, which is also distributed by FilmOne Entertainment. This strengthens the collaboration, which is founded on mutual respect, aspirations, and track records of success.
This agreement further demonstrates FilmOne Entertainment's position as a major player in Nigeria's film industry, giving producers the audience, framework, and assistance they require to engage with viewers in a meaningful way and support the country's cinematic development.
