The Conference of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA), today paid a condolence visit to one of its members and Special Assistant to the Governor on Website and Multimedia Streaming, Engr. Solomon Eyo, following the demise of his father, Evang. (Prince) Daniel Eyo.
Chancellor of COOPA, Mr. Utitofon Morgan, who led the delegation, described the late Evang. (Prince) Daniel Eyo as a respected patriarch whose life of service, faith, and integrity left an indelible mark on his family and community. He noted that the visit was not only to commiserate with Engr. Eyo, but also to demonstrate solidarity and brotherhood in his moment of grief.
Morgan stated that as a body, COOPA shares in the pain of its member and recognises the profound impact of losing a father. He encouraged Engr. Eyo and his family to take solace in the worthy legacy the deceased left behind, emphasising that a life well lived continues to speak even in death.
Responding, Engr. Solomon Eyo expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Chancellor and members of COOPA for the show of love and support. He thanked the group for identifying with him and his family during the difficult period, noting that their presence has brought comfort and strength.
The late Evang. (Prince) Daniel Eyo will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, after a funeral service to be conducted by Christ Embassy at St. Lutheran Primary School, Mbierebe Akpawa, Ibesikpo Asutan LGA.
