Davido's 'Timeless' gets Silver Certification in the UK

The success of Davido's fourth album in the UK is reflected in the Silver Plaque it received there.

"Timeless" has sold 100,000 copies in the UK, making it eligible for a silver plaque, according to a post made by the well-known music chart and data reporting platform Chart Data.

Released on March 31, 2023, the album was a huge hit, breaking streaming records for the first day and first week on YouTube, Boomplay, Audiomack, and Spotify Nigeria.
With guest performances by Asake, Skepta, Dexta Daps, Fave, Cavemen, and Angelique Kidjo, the project had 17 tracks.

He received a Headies award for Song of the Year and a Grammy nomination for Best Global record for the record.

'Unavailable' is a successful record that has been nominated for a Grammy for Best African Song Performance and has been certified Silver in the UK.

"Feel," one of the album's other successful singles, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Global Song Performance.
Since then, Davido has released his fifth album, "5ive," which came out in April 2025.

The 17-track project has enjoyed commercial success with the hit single 'With You' featuring Omah Lay becoming one of the biggest songs of 2025 so far.

The five-time Grammy nominee's current '5ive' tour, which stops in North America and Europe, will feature songs from his new album as well as previous timeless hits.
