Face of Valentine Pageant: Organizers unveils Official Theme for the 8th Edition

On Saturday 28th October, 2023, organizers of Face of Valentine held its press briefing where the official theme for the 8th edition of the pageant was unveiled.

The press briefing which was held at Macaire Resort had the Supervisor of the hotel; Joseph Emmanuel and Ms Cleopatra in Attendance.

The theme for the event which was unveiled as "Beauty for Humanity" is to change the narative our our young girls as they go about their daily activities.

Others who graced the press briefing was Dj Ben, The Mail Newspaper correspondent, CEO of Airclipz Entertainment, Lupi9jablog Crew and others.

The CEO, Mfonobong Robson; while speaking, added that the 8th Edition of the Contest will feature, lots of side attractions such as, Red Carpet Paparazi, Made in Akwa Ibom Products Exhibition, Award Presentations, Fashion Display, Music Performances, Comedy, Dance, Stage Play and lots more. 

He also added that aside from the 200k Worth Prize which includes, Endorsement Deals, Entrepreneurship/Digital Skills Acquisition, Pet Project Supports, Courtesy Visits Massive Media Round (Radio/Tv Interviews), Magazine Features, 3 Months Data Subscription, 3 Months Free Photo Gallery and Visits to Tourism Sites; other benefits include Registration into Association of Kings and Queens involvements and Government Functions.

He later said that the idea behind the theme "Beauty for Humanity" is for the Girl Children to look at their beauty beyond human comprehension while using it to serve humanity and give back to the society.

Official Registration into the 8th Edition of the contest commences from Monday 6th November to Sunday 19th November 2023.

Followed by the Registration Deadline will be a Statewide Auditioning, where all the Eligible Contestants will be screened and verified to qualified for the next phase which is the Online Voting.

However, interested contestants for the pageant are to follow the guidelines on our publicity material available on our social media platforms.

The Online voting which will be in stages, is another criterion we will be using to analyze contestants' social media presence and fan base.

Successful Contestants from the Statewide Auditioning, Online and Money Voting will later proceed to the House where they will all be camped, trained and prepared for the Big Stage; Grand Finale.

However, it is expected that any Girl Child that eventually emerge Face of Valentine, is an Ambassador and as such, should execute life touching projects while giving back to the society.

The event is opened to all Nigerian Girls between the ages of 18 to 28 years old.
