Florence Otedola, the daughter of Femi Otedola, a
millionaire businessman from Nigeria, was given a surprise country mansion by
her father valued £5,000,000 (N2.6bn).
DJ Cuppy's wife, Florence, couldn't contain her joy as
she shared the happy news on her social media page.
On Friday, November 11, 2022, the well-liked DJ jockey,
who will turn 30 soon, revealed the gift from her father while posting a
screenshot of a chat she had with the business tycoon.
Cuppy had claimed in the discussion
that her father had forgotten her 30th birthday; the billionaire had responded
that such a thing could never happen.
He also told her daughter that he had told a Berkley
Bank employee by the name of Andy to buy a £5,000,000 country house in her
name.
Otedola went on to say that because Cuppy has always
made him proud, he could not think of a better gift to give her.
Relatedly, the birthday girl subsequently revealed on
her Twitter profile that someone she isn't interested in sent her a costly gift
on her special day.
Cuppy's tweet reads: “So
this guy bought me a Rolex for my birthday …and I STILL don’t have time for him.”
