On
Sunday, former President Olusegun Obasanjo met with Peter Obi and his vice
presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
The
former governor of Anambra and former member of the House of Representatives
are running for president on the Labour Party ticket (LP).
The 2023 aspirants were welcomed by Obasanjo at his home in the capital of Ogun State, Abeokuta.
Additionally
present was social justice campaigner and senior pastor of Trinity House, Ituah
Ighodalo.
Oseloka Obaze, an associate of Obi's and a former UN representative, posted pictures of the encounter on social media.
Obaze served as the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) candidate for governor of Anambra in 2017.
The discussion is thought to be a part of Obi's preparations for the national elections in 2019.
