Veteran journalist Nelson NseAbasi has joined Experience Ibom as presenter of Tourism Hotspot, a radio programme on Comfort 95.1 FM, Uyo.
The show airs every Thursday at 11 a.m.
Mr NseAbasi announced the development, saying it came courtesy of Nkereuwem Onung, whom he described as the "Tourism Grandfather".
He called the new role "a new page" in a media career of more than 20 years. According to him, the career has taken him through print, radio, television and new media.
His first radio presenting job was in 2011, when he hosted Customer Panel on Atlantic FM 104.5. The programme was produced by Iyakise Udofia of Abstract Works.
Mr NseAbasi said the Tourism Hotspot show would project the tourism, hospitality and entertainment sectors.
He invited entrepreneurs, business owners and other stakeholders in these sectors to follow the programme, appear as guests and promote their businesses.
Experience Ibom is a platform focused on tourism promotion in Akwa Ibom State.
