Blaqbonez Files ₦2 billion Law Suit Againts Odumodublvck Over Defamation

In a recent disclosure, well-known rapper Blaqbonez has sued Odumodublvck.

Blaqbonez has filed a lawsuit against fellow rapper Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu), claiming ₦2 billion in general damages for alleged defamation, harassment, threats, and reputational loss, according to media source Albumtalks.

In a July 7, 2026, legal memo, Blaqbonez's attorneys, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, accuse Odumodublvck of participating in a persistent campaign of defamatory online publications, harassment, intimidation, threats, and conduct that allegedly harmed the rapper's commercial interests and reputation.

The legal document states:

"Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct."

The lawsuit also says that Odumodublvck frequently published or amplified remarks calling Blaqbonez a "sexual abuser" and "sexual abusing bastard," allegations that Blaqbonez's legal team characterizes as intentional, false, and defamatory.

Blaqbonez requests in the filing that the publications be deemed defamatory and that Odumodublvck be subject to a number of orders, including

  • A perpetual injunction preventing him from making or encouraging further defamatory publications or threats.
  • The immediate deletion of all alleged offending posts and related content across his social media platforms.
  • A public retraction and apology to be published on his verified social media accounts and pinned for at least 30 consecutive days.
  • A public notice directing his supporters to refrain from harassing or intimidating Blaqbonez.
  • ₦2 billion in general damages for injury to Blaqbonez's reputation, goodwill and commercial standing.
  • An additional ₦500 million in aggravated damages, citing the alleged repeated and malicious nature of the publications.
  • ₦50 million as the cost of the legal action, alongside any further relief the court may deem appropriate.

Allegations of harassment, assault, battery, unlawful interference, and threats to Blaqbonez's safety are also mentioned in the memorandum; these claims have not yet been put to the test in court.

Odumodublvck has not publicly addressed the legal allegations as of the time of publication. Blaqbonez's perspective is represented by the allegations in the court filing, and the case is still pending.
