colorful music videos for artists like Burna Boy and Davido.
The main character in contact of My Life is Soluchi (Uzoamaka Power), a contact
center representative who is still coping with the emotional effects of being
dumped by her ex-partner Kalu (Zubiy Michael). Soluchi is presented as someone
who has been wounded by love yet still believes in it. When she connects with
Eli (played by Andrew Bunting) during a client contact, her typical workday
takes an unexpected turn.
A professional exchange eventually gives way to a more
intimate one. Soluchi must face the burden of her past and determine if she is
willing to risk her heart once more as she negotiates the prospect of finding
love. With an emphasis on time, emotional development, and vulnerability, the
movie presents this trip as both romantic and reflective.
Live performances by Cobhams and Johnny Drille The movie also features Asuquo, who give the narrative a melodic undertone.
