Yesterday, Tuesday 20th January, 2026, "Walk-A-Thon Project 102" crew led by the conceptualizer; Matthew Matthew paid a surprise courtesy visit to the Paramount ruler of Ikot Ekpene local government area; His Royal Majesty Eteidung Okuku Okon Udoukut.
While soliciting for support and guidance at the Paramount Ruler's resident; Matthew Matthew highlighted the focus of the Walk-A-Thon project where he intend to trek through the 31 LGAs.
He also added that the Walk-A-Thon Project 102 is crafted to honor and celebrate Pastor Umo Eno for Unity & Development in Akwa Ibom State.
The Paramount Ruler in his response prayed for the conceptualizer and pledged total support during and after the project.
Out of happiness with gratitude, the paramount ruler was convinced to have a group photograph with the team while endorsing the project.
The team later visited the distinguished Senator, Ibok Essien in his country home in a bid to extend their quest for support from Sons and daughters of Ikot Ekpene local government area and to seek for guidance and support while giving a condolence message over the denise of the wife of the former senator.
The Senator, Eng. Ibok Essien in his response, commended the team and the initiator for the amazing idea behind the Walk-A-Thon project to promote the Arise Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno and pledged total support for the success of the project.
The climax of the visit was the endorsement of the project by the former senator.
