Faith is not a possession of all men. It is like a calling. Whereas many may claim to hear the call, only few qualify to be chosen. In other words, not all are endowed with the muse of creativity.
Rachael Williamson is among the few chosen ones. But unlike many, she did not choose poetry, poetry chose her.
She is a poet from Eket, Akwaibom State, who was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where she found, grew and nurtured her talent. She understands the value of developing innate gifting towards the attainment of success. Looking inward and nurturing a passion and flair for poetry, she ventured into authorship. She has authored books titled Life's Symphony and Dewdrops, among unpublished collections.
She sees poetry like Osundare does - man meaning to man. This is what she sings in a voice that has both grace and potential grandeur.
She strongly believes that youths are talented in many ways and must harness these gifting as a means to greater heights of achievement.
Having said that, Rickieverse is a poetry blog that features poems, spoken word poetry videos, quotes, music, games and little write-ups about poetry, all of which reflect creative musings found in the beauty of individuality finely crafted to soothe minds that relish poetry and its expressions.
