Yesterday, April 18, 2024, on the Arise Akwa Ibom Radio Program at Premium 89.9Fm, Abak, the Honourable Supervisor for Youth and Sports in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Comr Israel Robert praised the inclusive governance of Pastor Umo Eno in the past ten months.
He also said that Governor Umo Eno's appointment of Special Assistants in each ward demonstrated his desire to include everyone in his administration.
Comr. Robert added that the Special Assistants in each of the wards serve as the governor's spokesperson and represent him at the ward level.
In light of Pastor Umo Eno's achievements and inclusive government, the Honorable Supervisor has requested that Guinness World Records recognize him as the highest-achieving Governor.
Later, he reaffirmed his dedication to the growth and welfare of the good people of the Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area in accordance with the governor's "ARISE AGENDA" at the local level.
Apart from the 97 individuals who were sent for the Entrepreneurship training, the Supervisor is accertain that a larger number of people have gained diverse skills through a business say-up grant. Comr. Robert praised the governor for establishing the Bulk Purchase Agency, where Hon. Uniyme Etim, the former chairman of the Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, was appointed general manager and secretary with regard to the State Government's Food Security Program.
Comr. Robert used the opportunity to express his gratitude to Hon. Sir John Cleton, the chairman of the Transition Committee for Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, for his continued support of the committee's members and willingness to collaborate with them in guiding the local government council's operations.
The highlight of the interview was his sincere appreciation to the Chairman, Akwa Ibom Power Plan; Engr. Etido Inyang and the Honorable Commissioner for Man Power and Labor, Hon. Aniefiok Nkom for their unwavering supports of his project at the ward level.
