The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Research and Documentation, Mr. Essien Ndueso PhD, on Thursday 18th of April, 2024 at Government House Uyo, endorsed the World Guinness Record attempt by Mr. Uduak Nanga for the 150hours longest hours solving Mathematics.
Dr Essien gave the endorsement when a delegation of the Math-A-Thon team made a brief stop over at his office to officially intimate and invite him to the event which is scheduled to kickstart on Saturday, 20th April, 2024 at Kings Kids School, Ewet Housing. Uyo
The Math-A-Thon is an attempt to set a new Guinness world record for the longest time solving Mathematical problems which is set to be attempted by Uduak Nanga a Mathematics tutor who hails from Osuk Ediene in Ikono LGA of Akwa Ibom State.
Mr Uduak has stated that his attempt is in line with the ARISE agenda of His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State. In the course of his endorsement visit, Mr Uduak took time to explain that his main aim for the attempt is to encourage the "I can do spirit" and that mathematics is fun and cuts across all facet of life hence should not be dreaded as must students do.
