HON. IBEREDEM ISONGUYO AKPAN (BEBETO) DONATES GOLDEN CUP TO HIS VILLAGE

In the spirit and mantle of golden era of Pastor Umo Eno, the immediate past councilor of Ikot Ekpene urban ward 4 by Inec and 5 by AKISIEC, Hon . Iberedem Isonguyo Akpan (aka Bebeto) on Monday 15th April 2024 donated a Golden Cup to his Village, Nsiak in Ikot Ekpene LGA AKWA IBOM State to be used for football competition, this he said is to promote love, unity, togetherness, and reduce youths  restiveness in the Village. 

Hon Bebeto as he's popularly known, used the presentation ceremony and the opportunity to thank his village and Ward for standing by him when he represented them as Councilor in the Ikot Ekpene 7th legislative council, and promised to make cash donations to the winners each year and time the competition would be played/hosted as a former football star.

The Village Head, Chief Aniefon Edet Udo while receiving the GOLDEN CUP on behalf of the village in the present of the village council executive members, family heads, Chairmen, councilors and a Cross section of the village people, did not hide his happiness, love and admiration to Hon. Bebeto for his magnanimity. 

The Village Head appreciated Hon Isonguyo for always having the interest of the village, ward and humanity at heart, he commended him for the Borehole he dug and handed over to the village/ward when he was  serving as the Legislative member, according to the village Head, that water is a source of succor to his people at this time one side of the village doesn't have light owing to the vandalization of their Transformer. He added that what Hon Isonguyo has done is unprecedented and believe given a greater opportunity, he's optimistic would bring more dividend of democracy to the people.

Collaborating what the village Head said, the Village Chairman, Chief Uwem Udo Udo said God will bless Hon Iberedem Isonguyo for his charisma and benevolence spirit 

Also speaking were Chief Innocent Idio,  family head of Nto Inyang Ekpe family, Elder (Ambassador) Edet Udokun, Chapter Officer of PDP, Ikot Ekpene Chapter. Mrs Affiong Mbere, Ward 4 or 5 PDP Woman leader. Mr Imowo Umoren, S.L.A to the President of 10th Senate, all of them poured encomium on Hon. Isonguyo,  praying for his eldorado

The hall mark of the event was when prayers were offered by the village council Chiefs to Hon Iberedem Isonguyo for more blessings, elevation, protection, connection, favour and promotion.

Others in his entourage included  Mr Kingsley EKONG, Pst Uwem Udo Ekpo  and Pst Usenobong Alban Udofia. To God be the glory.
