Another Akwa Ibomite, Uduot Ekpouko is getting ready to attempt setting a new record for the Guinness World Record for the Longest Home Kitchen Cooking hours by an individual.
The TĒM-A-THON will witness a 145-hour cooking of over 50 Nigerian dishes for charity billed to take place in Uyo from 5th – 10th January, 2024 with strict adherence to the stringent guidelines set by the Guinness World Records.
Uduot Ekpouko who will be demonstrating unmatched determination and culinary expertise, seeks to break the current record of 68 hours, 30 minutes, and 1 second held by Rickey Lumpkin of Los Angeles.
According to a release signed by the Program Manager, Edidiong Udofiah, the record attempt is different from the Longest Cooking Hours Marathon recently broken by the phenomenal Hilda Baci broke with emphasis on “Home Kitchen”.
Udofiah however, stated that the public shall be enlightened more on the attempt's progress and on local delicacies to be prepared via social media platforms @Tĕm-A-Thon.
Meanwhile, members of the public are invited to support the attempt by sharing words of encouragement, and through partnership cum sponsorship.
