The People's HERO Initiative is what premium lager, HERO chooses to call it's talent development and promotion driven corporate social responsibility, which is set out to invest in talents in the vibrant Nigerian music industry.
That seed planted months ago by Hero has yielded what could pass for as one of the most incredible albums in Naija music history. Titled WORTHY, the album employs the iconic touch of 2 veteran Nigerian music stars, iLL Bliss and Rudeboy, who team up with 4 Producers and 10 indigenous Nigerian artistes to produce a 12-tracker album.
The talents featured on the project are;
KOLABOY
Chinonso Victor Nwodo, popularly known as Kolaboy is a singer-songwriter and rapper from Ugbawka, Nkanu East, Enugu State, Nigeria. The young rapper who raps predominantly in Igbo language, with a blend of English and Pidgin English, is notable for songs like "Omalicha", "Debit Alert", "Collect", "Normal Thing" featuring Flavour, "Do You Really Like Me" by Ugoccie and collaborations with other notable artistes including Zoro, Slow Dog, Jeriq, Ejke Nwamba, Anyidons, and many more.
In the East, he made an emblem of his name as one of the finest new generation artiste who held strong to the promotion of the Igbo culture. His latest song, 'Kolapiano' is an intelligent infusion of Oja (the Igbo traditional flute) into the popular Amapiano sound thereby serving a sweet, feel-good and refreshing music. He is signed an ambassadorial deal with Hero Lager beer as has been representing the brand on all fronts.
JERIQ
Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, popularly known as Jeriq ( born May 6th 1999) is a Nigerian rapper and singer who hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria. He is known for his unique style of rap and lifestyle, which makes him relatable and acceptable among young people.
Jeriq has created a niche for himself with a cult-like following. He gained traction with his first single "Junky," with street slangs such as "Sambalitual" and "Iyoo," which represents people in Onitsha.
Jeriq is an ambassador of premium lager beer, Hero, his decision to remix the "Remember" track with Phyno was a huge leap in his career, which was followed by an incredible visual viewed by millions worldwide. This has since been followed with other collaborations, notably with Zlatan and Odumodu Black, he is a double nominee of the HEADIES Award 2023.
DANDIZZY
Daniel Tuotamuno Darius popularly known as Dandizzy is a Nigerian Rapper and Song Writer born and bred in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Dandizzy style of music is a blend of modern day rap diluted in Port Harcourt (Pitakwa) pidgin and slangs, he is known remarkably for his spontaneous freestyle abilities and this has earned him a major exposure on the digital space.
Dandizzy is a notable name in the Nigerian Music Scene and he has collaborated with industry household names too numerous to mention.
SPARKLE TEE
Chidiebere Timothy Ezekiel, otherwise known as Sparkle Tee is a fast rising music star who hails from the South Eastern part of Nigeria, his genre can be considered as HIP LIFE with a touch of AFRO FUSION.
Sparkle Tee got his first global recognition with the song “HUSTLE DOT COM” which became anthem across Nigeria, this and other songs like “ANYAM” and “ECHI” made him the street's favorite in the east and beyond.

He went professional with music soon after and then signed a recording agreement with E-L-K Rrecords in 2019.With the release of his first EP titled Anumanu in 2020, which had songs like, "Aanya red", "Bblow", etc, - he established himself as a force to be reckoned.
In 2022, his first single of the year, "Ọfọ," was widely received by his rapidly growing audience. The iconic song caught the attention of rap superstar, Phyno, who proceeded to a remix with Ifex G.
IFÉ
Ifechukwu Mercy Michael professionally known as Ifé is a graduate of Music and Performing Arts. She also has acquired a Diploma from the Music Business for Africa Academy (MBA) where she studied; Copyright laws, A&R, Management, Touring/events etc.
Ifé has worked with Smarty (Burkina Faso), Afrie (Uganda), Unchained XL (New Zealand), Umu Obiligbo (Nigeria) etc. Her song 'Ozo' in March 2023 was used in an Apple TV exclusive Hollywood series - Ted Lasso. Ifé currently works with African Union for girls Education in Africa, and also The Malala Fund advocating for safe schools for girls around the world. Ifé has performed in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Togo, Ethiopia etc. Where she relentlessly represents her culture, mother tongue and Heritage.
KODO PEARL
Obiechina Victor Nkemakolam with stage name ‘KODO PEARL’ is a fast rising artiste from the south Eastern part of Nigeria who sings in his native Igbo language.
Kodopearl is known by his signature angelic baritone voice,he got his first viral song ‘MIKWANSA’ and followed it up with ‘MBADA ft Sparkletee’ , both became top trending songs in the region and across Nigeria, giving Kodopearl a shot at fame and stardom.
Early in the year, he was selected amongst the most promising talents to partake in The People's HERO Initiative, to mark his 2023 birthday on August 6,he released the video for his single 'Okwu Igbo' which is enjoying rotation online and on terrestrial TV.
ACETUNE
Acetune is a talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer who was born in Lagos but grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He has been active in the Nigerian music industry for several years and has established himself as a rising star in the industry. In 2014, Acetune won the Airtel One Mic competition, which helped to propel him further into the limelight.
Acetune's talent as a songwriter has also led him to write songs for other Nigerian music icons such as 2Baba, Seyi Shay, Iyanya and Larry Gaaga with whom he released his first album, "Love Zone." With his unique blend of R&B, Afrobeat, Highlife and pop music, Acetune is one to watch out for in the Nigerian music scene, moreso following his recent signon with 'Fire Department' owned by Rudeboy of the Psquare fame.

IKPA UDO
Multiple Award winning Ikpa Udo, real names Nsidibe Sunday Ukim describes himself as a weaver of Afro beat, Hip Hop with a fusion of dance. He boasts of collaborations with the likes of Iyanya, Solidstar, Oritsefemi, Magnito and most recently, iLlBliss.
History will remember him as one of the frontline rappers in Nigeria's entertainment industry doing the country proud by promoting his mother tongue, using his native Ibibio language of Akwa Ibom people, also understood by the Efiks of Cross River.
This approach to music had carved a niche for him, despite the growing number of entertainers, earning him recognitions and awards at home and abroad.
MAJOR BANGS
Archibong Michael popularly known as Major Bangz is a top Nigerian music producer and song writer who is known for making hits with rapper Phyno. He has also made hits for Kizz Daniel, Adekunle Gold, Olamide and a host of others.
Major Bangz made the official soundtrack for Pepsi Max campaign which featured Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno and Tiwa savage. In 2018, he produced the Hennessy Artistry theme song which featured Timaya, Falz, Olamide. He is one of the most sorted after producers for artistes who love hip hop and experimental afro-fusion records.
SKITTER
Skitter is a Nigerian born music producer, mix and master engineer otherwise known as Israel Elisha Dangyang, he is a native of Jos, Plateau state and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marketing from the University of Jos. His love for music manifested at the early age of 4, when he picked interest in playing the drums at his local church in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
Skitter started music production professionally in 2014 and has gained recognition for his unique sounds, with many projects and accolades to his name over the years. Some notable production include; three sound tracks to a Netflix Original movie MAN OF GOD, 7 WONDERS Album by Dremo and Patoranking, STUBBORN BOY EP by Efe and KPEE THE EP by Kpee. Chigbo Abuchi Anthony also known as Barmy Aje is a talented music producer and song writer who hails from Umumba Ndiagu, Ezeagu area of Enugu. He is every artiste's delight, considering his dexterity in music production.
Barmy is the brain behind hits for artistes such as Success, King OT, Sparkle Tee, Kola Boy and Ejyke Nwamaba who are all making waves.
KEZYKLEF
Kezyklef, real names Mba Anthony Kelechukwu hails from Owo community, Nkanu east of Enugu State. Kezyklef is a versatile music producer, music director and songwriter.
He is referred to as one of the best producers from the east of the Niger, having produced lots of hits for Nigerian stars such as Phyno, Flavour, Runtown, Bella Shmurda, Mayorkun, ILLBliss, Slow Dogg, Stomrex and Hero ambassador Zoro.
