The leadership of "Face of Valentine Pageant Organization" led by the creative director, Mfonobong Robson and Queen Victory Akpan is set for the much anticipated Free Skill Acquisition Training Program for Girl Child Development.
The announcement which was made on Monday 26th June on a AKBC Television Program, "Pathfinder AM 45" had it that the training program is organized by the office of "Face of Valentine 2022/2023".
While on the Television Program, Queen Victory Akpan highlighted some of the activities embarked upon by her pageantry organization since her emergence as "Face of Valentine 2022/2023" and other projects she will be embarking on before the end of her tenure on February next year 2024.
She also added that since the Pageant Organization is all out for Girl Child Development, she has touched lives, put smiles on the faces of the less privileged and the most vulnerable with her pet projects which includes visits to the orphanage, maternity homes, secondary schools and lots more.
The CEO, Mfonobong Robson also known as Akpanobong also added that giving back to the society is best thing that can ever happen to humans and as such, with the partnership of cooperate bodies and NGOs, the Pageant Organization have been able to organize programs and events that have shaped the economy in terms of personal development, capacity building, seminars and lots more.
He also added that it is the dream of every girl child to become a Pageant Queen so as to have a platform to give back to the society and become a role model to others and that Face of Valentine Pageant Organization is equal to the task.
It can be recalled that "Face of Valentine Pageant Organization" hosted the biggest female gathering "Girl Child Conference 2023" early this month which had Akwa Ibom Student Communities in attendance.
The conference which was supported by Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council through the Executive Chairman, Rt. Hon. Unyime Etim and the Voice, Hon. Precious Udoh, and other NGOs was the first of it kind ever to be hosted in Ikot Ekpene the Raffia City.
The 6Weeks Skills Acquisition Training Program according to Mfonobong Robson will kick off in Ikot Ekpene, Eket, Uyo and Afaha Nsit on Monday 3rd July with an orientation for all interested participants, while the various skill to learn are Make Up/Gele Tying, Cake Baking/Snacks, Cosmetology, Decoration and Social Media Marketing.
However, interested participants will get a certificate on completion of the training program.
Interested participants are expected to pick up their free registration forms in the various training centers as registration closes on Saturday 1st July 2023.
