Management of the Ministry of Information and Strategy, in its characteristics celebrated with one of theirs, the Director General of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC, Pastor (Dr) Anietie Ukpe, as he marked his Diamond Jubilee, Thursday, 18th May, 2023.
The management staff who stormed the Office of the DG with excitement, joy and happiness presented birthday card to the DG amidst birthday chants.
The Director of Public Relations, Mrs Grace Akpan, extended the best wishes of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the Permanent Secretary, Akparawa James Edet, the Management and the entire staff of the Minsitry to Pastor (Dr) Anietie Ukpe as he celebrates his impactful 60 years on earth and prayed God to keep him to celebrate more happy years ahead.
Responding, the Director General of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC, Pastor (Dr) Anietie Ukpe expressed delight on the visit and appreciated the management for the show of love, solidarity and goodwill to him on his Diamond Jubilee.
He particularly commended the Information Commissioner for raising the bar in his administration of the Information machinery of the State as demonstrated in the numerous innovations he brought to bear while superintending over the Ministry as the State Information helmsman.
Present at the event were friends of the DG including; a Lecturer at the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Mr. Anietie Eteyit and management staff of AKBC.
