Toke Makinwa is the most recent famous
Nigerian to have recently been robbed abroad.
On November 26, 2022, in North Yorkshire, England, she attended the white
wedding of actress Rita Dominic and her husband, Fidelis Anosike.
The media celebrity revealed that she had been robbed on her
Snapchat story three days after the wedding.
She said that
robbers had stolen her possessions. She claimed to be incoherent and to be
wondering how such a thing could have occurred to her.
She wrote: "Just got robbed in London… I’m speechless. All my valuables
are gone. Gosh how could this happen to me."
