Special Assistant to Akwa Ibom State Governor on Information and Communication Technology, ICT, Aniekan James Ekah, on Monday, November 14, 2022, facilitated a content creation/monetization master class for 50 content creators from different fields across the state.
The session tagged Talent MasterClass took place at theBUNKer, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, with renowned Meta Content Creator, Comedian, and Talent Manager, MC Mbakara as a Guest Speaker.
Speaking at the event, Ekah said content creation plays a crucial role in achieving business and social media objectives such as brand recognition, thought leadership, audience engagement, and lead generation.
He said content creation is a sure alternative means of income if done right, adding that it helps individuals cement their position as a go-to destination for audiences, whether for entertainment, education, or inspiration.
In his presentation, MC Mbakara took participants on his journey to the top as a Meta Content Creator while revealing the nitty-gritty of the content creation process and monetization.
Mbakara, who has raked in over half a billion naira creating content, encouraged participants to find their niche and create algorithm-friendly content that would make their content go viral.
The training session, according to the SA on ICT will be held regularly to sharpen the wits of content creators and cyberpreneurs in the state.
