The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Comrade (Barr.) Ini Ememobong has lauded the duo of Utang Akwa Ibom & Godfada for the interpretation of the vision of Governor Udom Emmanuel for Akwa Ibom State Entertainment Industry through the Ibom Entertainment Week.
The mouthpiece of the state government gave the remark when he received the special assistants to governor on entertainment industry, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) and his project monitoring counterpart, Godfada Uko, who doubles as Chairman of the Ibom Entertainment Week Planning Committee.
Addressing them in the presence of the ministry's permanent secretary, Mr James Edet, Comrade Ememobong thanked them for making the governor and his administration proud. Having witnessed the maiden edition of the event, he promised to give his support to make the 2022 edition grand.
Ibom Entertainment Week 2022 holds in different parts of Uyo from Tuesday, September 13 through Sunday, September 18, 2022. The opening ceremony takes place at Ibom Tropicana Grounds on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, with a rich guest list of politicians and entertainers expected in attendance.
