Dammy Krane, a Nigerian musician, has criticized Davido for refusing to pay him back the money that he owes.
David was urged by Dammy to set a good example by not taking advantage of people. He continued by pleading with all of his wealthy debtors to pay up to prevent public humiliation.
When David saw the tweet, he added, "who go help you no go stress you." The hook for Davido's song "Pere" was co-written by Dammy. Since then, he hasn't received the royalties owed to him.

The majority of the comments on the tweet were of the opinion that Dammy is only pursuing clots or that it is a public stunt.
