Nigerian music sensation Mista Xto has arrived in London ahead of his headline performance at the maiden Oro Day Celebration and Fund Launch organised by the Oro Development Union UK/Ireland.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, will bring together sons, daughters and friends of the Oro Nation from across the United Kingdom and beyond in a celebration of culture and unity. With the theme, "The Oro of Our Dreams: Empowering the Youths for Self-Reliance," the gathering will focus on youth empowerment, education and sustainable development initiatives aimed at strengthening the Oro Nation at home and in the diaspora.
Mista Xto's arrival has generated excitement among music lovers and members of the Oro community,with many looking forward to a performance expected to blend entertainment with cultural pride. The multiple award-winning Oro son has built a reputation for energetic stage performances and is expected to add colour to what organisers describe as a landmark event for the Oro people in the UK and Ireland.
The fundraiser will be chaired by the Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sir Victor Antai, Ph.D. The Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, Ph.D., is expected to attend as Mother of the Day, alongside other distinguished guests, community leaders and stakeholders from Nigeria and the diaspora.
According to the organisers, the celebration will take place at St. John's Hyde Park, Hyde Park Crescent, London, and is open to members of the public. Admission has been fixed at £50 for adults and £10 for children.
The Oro Development Union UK/Ireland has called on all sons, daughters and friends of the Oro Nation to attend the historic gathering, describing it as an opportunity to reconnect with their heritage while supporting initiatives that will help shape a brighter future for the next generation.
In a chat with him,the veteran singer disclosed that discussions are ongoing on several fronts during his stay in the United Kingdom. He revealed that he is also holding talks with entertainment managers on a possible management partnership as part of preparations for a more extensive tour of the UK and Europe in the near future.
