His Excellency, Pastor Umo, PhD, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State has approved the appointment of Aity Dennis-Inyang as Honourary Special Adviser (Creative Industry) with effect from 1st November, 2025.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the appointee is enjoined to abide by the Code of Conduct prescribed for Public Officers as set out by the Federal Government in the Constitution of 1999 (as amended).
Aity Dennis-Inyang is an internationally recognised music artiste and cutural ambassador of Akwa Ibom State known for integrating Akwa Ibom indigenous languages into her songs. With over 4000 songs to her credit, she has served as the artiste manager for the annual Akwa Ibom State Christmas Carols Festival for over a decade.
She brings to her position over 30 years experience in the Media, Music and Movies.
Mrs. Aity Dennis-Inyang holds a First degree in French Language, a Masters Degree in Mass Communcation and a Doctorate in Christian Leadership (Honoris Causa).
