‎Raffia City Speaker Youth Assembly of Nigeria Expressed Gratitude over a Successful 2025 4th Assembly Inauguration  ‎

‎The Speaker, Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ikot Ekpene Chapter; Hon. Ineme Dianabasi wish to express his heartfelt gratitude to God almighty following the successful conduct of the 4th Inauguration Ceremony of elected officers of the Assembly which held on Friday, August 22, 2025.

‎The raffia City Speaker said it was a historic day as all Local Government Area Speakers and their Chapter Principal Officers across Akwa Ibom State were officially inaugurated, marking a new chapter of commitment to youth leadership and service. At the same ceremony, the State Speaker of YAN Akwa Ibom State art. Hon. (Pst) Idongesit Oko was inaugurated alongside other principal officers, signifying a united front for youth representation in our dear state.


‎The inauguration exercise was formally performed by the National Speaker of YAN / the Technical Assistant to the Honourable Minister for Youth Development – Rt. Hon. Famuyibo Nathaniel Oluwasegun , ably assisted the State Ambassador Amb. Imo Ime Imaha and THE NATIONAL CHIEF WHIP, represented by the Chief Clerk of YAN Cross River State, Eld. Victory Ubi .

‎The event was graced by outstanding personalities from the business and political landscape of Akwa Ibom State, making it a truly memorable gathering.

‎On behalf of the 4th Assembly inductees at the Local Government levels, I heartily congratulate:

‎Rt. Hon. (Pst) Idongesit Oko the newly inaugurated State Speaker YANASK. 

‎Hon. Ineme also extend deep appreciation to the dignitaries, leaders, and stakeholders who joined us both from within Ikot Ekpene LGA and across Akwa Ibom State. Your presence and support reaffirm the importance of this movement as a platform for young people to speak, act, and contribute meaningfully to governance and development.

‎Hon. Ineme the newly inaugurated Speaker Ikot Ekpene Chapter, stated that this inauguration is not merely a ceremonial event, but a call to responsibility. He is committed to working with young people across all 12 wards and communities, ensuring that YAN remains a bridge of opportunities, mentorship, and advocacy for every youth in Ikot Ekpene.

‎The Raffia city Speaker also extend warm congratulations to the Patron and Advisers.

‎During the Leadership Training Session, Comr. Edidiong Ita and Bishop Leo Leo Umana transformed the program into a true masterclass, equipping the inductees with knowledge on self-building, discipline, and the importance of cultivating a savings culture for a sustainable future.

‎Hon. Ineme Dianabasi appreciates the guidance and support of the Honourable Minister of Youth Development; Hon. Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State; His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D, the Commissioner for Youth Development; Hon. Dr. Ekerete Ekanem, Ikot Ekpene Local Government Chairman Hon. Aniefiok Akom and all Aides to the Governor through the SA on Youth Mobilization; Hon. Udeme Ubom.


‎He further appreciated the planning committee Chairman Hon. Mkpongke Okon and Secretary Hon. Ndongesit Effeh other committee members for a Job well done. 

‎"Together with my fellow principal officers, I Hon. Ineme Dianabasi pledge to uphold the ideals of the Assembly, to speak the truth with courage, and to collaborate with relevant institutions, leaders, local and international organizations for the progress of our people."

‎"To every youth of Ikot Ekpene, this victory is ours. Let us ARISE with RENEWED HOPE, for the future we desire will only be built by the actions we take today." He added.
