In a bid to intensify the Gender Based Violence message in Oruk Anam Local Government Area, the wife of the Executive Chairman, Deaconess Juliana Sunday Festus led the Gender Based Violence Response Unit, Oruk Anam Local Government Council to a sensitization campaign at The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Ikot Akpan Ntuk in Oruk Anam Local Government Area, today 29th June 2025.
Addressing the congregation, the First Lady revealed the team's readiness to sensitize Oruk Anam people on the danger and consequences of Gender Based Violence, noting that the exercise was to mark the 2025 Awareness Campaign in partnership with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice.
The Council First Lady, out of compassion and love for people, shared wrappers and cash donations among some youths in the church.
