Commercial broadcast and urban lifestyle radio station, Premium FM, is set for its first Colloquium and Awards Ceremony.
The event scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2025, at Vinpy Events Center, Uyo, by 6:00 PM, is aimed at celebrating excellence, innovation, and community development.
At the event, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, will be honoured as 'Premium 89.9 FM Man of the Year and Best Governor in Nigeria 2024.'
Eno, according to the Editorial Board of Premium FM, was selected for the recognition, following a thorough review of his transformative leadership, compassionate humanitarian interventions, and infrastructural advancements.
The event to be chaired by Amb. Assam Assam, will also feature a Colloquium Segment, Panel Discussion with industry experts, and recognition of other outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions across various sectors.
The broadcast outfit will also use the occasion to launch the Premium Digital Entrepreneurship & Broadcast Mentorship Programme, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering 31 selected mentees across Akwa Ibom State.
According to the management of Premium Fm, the program will provide young entrepreneurs and aspiring broadcasters with hands-on training, mentorship, and resources to excel in the digital and media industries.
