Yesterday, 27th December, 2024 the organizers of Miss Bantu Pageant Int'l and the newly crowned Queens led by the progenitor; Hon. Patty Inemeh paid a familiarization visit the Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Hon. Elder Aniefiok Nkom.

The visit according to the crew was to synergize with the local government chairman and to key in with the vision of the governor in the creative industry. 

While briefing the executive Chairman, the progenitor Hon. Patty Inemeh added that the newly crowned Queens are all installed to promote cultural preservation inline with the Arise Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno.

Hon. Inemeh also used the medium to seek for the collaboration of the Local government in creating an access road within the museum communities so as to boost local production and exportation of finished Raffia crafts. 

Queen Victory (Miss Bantu Int'l ) who spoke on behalf of other Queens added that as demanded by her new office, she is ready to educate and enlighten members of the public and the good people of Ikot Ekpene local government area about cultural heritage of our our dear state

She also added that her office will partner with other NGOs and Stake holders in the industry as well as the government for an effective responsive governance.

In his response, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Aniefiok Nkom assured the newly crowded queen of his total support during their pet projects.

Hon. Nkom also revealed plans to award road projects in the area while seeking adequate cooperation during and after the projects. 

Also at the brief meeting was executive vice chairman, Obonganwan Abigail Akpan, Council Secretary; Hon. Unyime Thomas and other Security Personnel.

Highpoint of the visit was presentation of the project proposal and souvenirs to the executive chairman and the vice Chairman.
