She revealed the film title in two transition videos she posted on Instagram on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, stating “FINDING ME!!!!!!!!!! 👀👀👀👀👀👀.”

"Been long you saw Jenifa!!!!" was Akindele's tweet a month ago announcing her new movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, a spinoff from the Jenifa franchise that would debut in December 2024.
One of Nollywood's most accomplished directors, Akindele is known for creating the well-liked Jenifa series and directing A Tribe Called Judah, which became the highest-grossing movie in Nigeria at over ₦1.4 billion.
She is also the director of Battle on Buka Street, which is the second-highest grossing movie in Nigeria with a total of ₦668 million, and Omo Ghetto: The Saga, which is the third-highest with a total of ₦636 million.
