In a bid to promote gender equality, Miss Obot Akara 2022/2023; Queen Andifon Umoh has revealed plans to host the first ever "Boy Child Conference 2024".
The annoucement which was made by the pageant Queen few days after Christmas while in a phone interview with newsmen in Uyo had it that the conference is design to celebrate the Boy Child while giving them the right mindset towards the girl child.
According to Queen Andifon, "Boy Child Conference 2024" promises to liberate the boy child from all the negative influence, to unleash the hero within each boy child and pave the way for the generation of empowered and compassionate leaders.
In her words: "As we embark on the journey at the boy child conference 2024, together, lets explore the boundless potentials within every boy child, fostering resilience, leadership and a vision for a future of positive impact."
The conference which has as its theme "Raising Heroes" will feature lots of activities; Essay Writing, Dance Competition, Debates, Quizzes, Keynote Addresses, Panel Discussions, Stage Drama, Award presentations and lots more.
"Boy Child Conference 2024" is powered by Office of Miss Obot Akara 2022/2023 and Obot Akara Local Government Council.
