The Vice President of Ritman University's Student Union Government (SUG), Comrade Ruth Uduak Cosmus is sponsoring 2 Contestants for one of the biggest pageant in Akwa Ibom; Face of Valentine Pageant 2023.
The announcement was made few days ago via a phone call with the CEO of the Brand; Mfonobong Robson also known as Xbeef following her passion for girl child development.
Comrade Ruth Cosmus is an amazing girl child whose passion is heard towards girl child development and Education.
Her leadership attributes and zeal for learning paved way for her to serve the good students of Ritman University as their Vice President.
She is also the Chapter coordinator of Akwa Ibom Female Students Association (AIFSA), Ritman University.
When asked why she is sponsoring contestants for the contest, she added that having attended the "Girl Child Conference 2023" few months ago organized by Face of Valentine Pageant Organization, she was encouraged ad motivated to be part of any girl child development program and that having being familiar with the vision of the pageant brand, the only support she could give to a girl child out there is to support them to be part of the contest which will in turn, give them a voice on the community to become role models and peace Ambassadors while giving back to the society.
It can be recalled that few weeks ago, the Founder of Adiahaobong Foundation; Dr. Mfon-Ete Michael sponsored 3 persons drawn from the three senatorial districts, Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Eket to be part of the contest.
Face of Valentine Pageant is designed to promote the Campaign against Sexual harassment, Girl Child Abuse, Gender-Based Violence, Early Marriage and lots more.
The pageant is also aimed at giving the girl child a voice in the society while
encouraging them to become role models, female leaders and Peace Ambassadors.
It is expected that any Girl Child that eventually emerge Face of Valentine, is an Ambassador and as such,
should execute life touching projects while giving back to the society.
