The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin has resolved the lingering issue between Atuekong and security operatives at the Ibom Christmas Village.
The Commissioner confirmed that following full report of the investigation, which has been presented, it revealed that the situation was as a result of misunderstanding and physical tussle and not influenced by alcohol. So far, the matter has been settled by all parties involved.
The public is hereby enjoined to feel free to visit Ibom Christmas Village and dissuade all negative news in circulation about the peace, safety and security of lives and properties in the village.
