The second Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Cup competition, according to Julius Owen Ighodaro, a Nigerian football agent based in Belgium, will be a breeding ground for future football stars who will take the position of present players in the young teams and the Super Eagles.
Ighodaro said he has watched the competition since the first edition and is confident the second edition will be more competitive while speaking from his base.
From December 10 to December 18, the competition is set to take place in Asaba, Delta State.
Ighodaro continued, "All participating teams will arrive on December 10; player screening will take place on December 11."
He commended the competition's organizers, Grassof, for the foundation they had built and asked them not to lower the bar. He also urged the sponsors, NDDC, to not hold back on anything that would increase the competition's visibility and standard.
