On Monday, 3rd October 2022 fashion designers, entertainment lovers, members of the press as well as brand managers and Models gathered at Bukels Studio, Uyo for "Miss Africa MAIA 2023" press conference and official unveiling.
At the Press Conference, MAIA 3.0 organizing crew led by the Project Director, Mr Emenyi took time to highlight activities and packages build up for a successful outing come March 2023.
In a bid to have a representative of the brand, the CEO of Bukels Fashion Academy, Her Royal Majesty, Ofonmbuk Edet, Stephanie Oguchie were appointed MAIA Ambassadors
Other partners that were also present at the unveiling was La Vie Fraiche Empire, Sooch and others.
Registration for Miss Africa MAIA will commence on Friday 14th Oct. 2022. To 14 Nov. 2022.
According to the project director, Star Price for this year's edition is $2000 worth of prices.
Selected Contestants at the stage will be brought to an exclusive camp in Akwa Ibom State, to compete for the crown.
Contestants in camp will be also be engage with numerous camp activities and Africa's viewers choice voting to select the top five at the Grand stage.
Awards shall be given to select Contestants who will be falling under the award categories.
