The
rapper was fired because of recent anti-Semitic remarks made after donning a
"White Lives Matter" t-shirt.
Jamie
Foxx and Quentin Tarantino are the most recent targets of Kanye West's
now-famous social media wrath.
The
rapper has criticized the writer, director, and actor of the 2012 Western
"Django Unchained." West made the assertions in an interview with
Piers Morgan, saying that he had first brought up the idea in a 2005
brainstorming session for the "Gold Digger" music video, which also
involved Foxx.
“I actually gave Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino the idea
for "Django" when I proposed it to them as the video for "Gold
Digger," so they could make a movie about slavery. On Morgan's "Piers
Morgan Uncensored," Ye revealed that Tarantino later made the story into a movie.
The Jewish community
has responded strongly to the rapper's anti-Semitic tweets, which have
subsequently been removed and for which he has since officially changed his
name to Ye. Due to the posts, Ye's access to Twitter and Instagram has also
been blocked, and major companies like Adidas have severed ties.
